The Birchwood Club

The social calendar at The Birchwood Club is a busy one, to say the least! During the summer season, we have dinner dances on the Saturday evenings of Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends. The highlight of the summer social season is our gala Pool Party, attended by more than 300 members and their guests! Ethnic nights may feature delicious Italian, Oriental, French or Mexican cuisine. Fabulous holiday BBQ's and Sunday evening buffets are all enjoyed by our members and their friends.

Birchwood holds many celebrations, including Passover seders, Yom Kippur "break fast", Halloween costume parties, Thanksgiving feasts as well as a children's Hanukkah party and New Year's Eve galas! Mother's and Father's Days are celebrated at Birchwood with lavish buffets; grandmothers receive special recognition when families come together for a casual lunch, swimming and children's entertainment. The entire calendar year is filled with other special celebrations, far too numerous to list! But, whether we dress in our fanciest finery, come casual or even come incognito, we promise that our parties are all great and all lots of fun!

Magic Show

Birchwood members of all ages enjoyed an evening of "Magic & Laughter", showcasing the quick wit, humor and magical talent of Dennis DeBondt. DeBondt shared some of his 'secrets' with young, aspiring magicians and one young lady got 'carried away'.

Theatre Night

Birchwood members enjoy an Annual Theatre Night performance. This year's production was a reading of "The Last Five Years" by Jason Robert Brown and starred Erika Brett Holleb and Stef Tovar.

July 4th Celebration

Great Western Barbecue

Birchwood members and their guests dressed in their cowboy & cowgirl best & had a rip-roarin' time at The Great Western BBQ. Everyone enjoyed appetizers & desserts served from the chuck wagons and mouth-watering "Cowboy Steaks" with all the fixings. Southern Strait kept everyone dancing with country tunes and the dance instructor had everyone dancing and laughing as they got into the 'swing' with western line-dances.
