Located in a setting of colorful flowers, The Birchwood Club’s sparkling swimming pool is an inviting oasis to talk with friends, play with the children and grandchildren, swim laps and cool off on a hot, sunny afternoon. The whirlpool, located adjacent to the pool, is the perfect place to relax and soothe tennis-weary muscles. The brand-new kiddie pool and playground provide the little ones with their own mecca of wet summer fun! The 70' X 30' pool opens Memorial Day weekend and is open seven days a week (weather permitting) during the summer season. Birchwood's pools are staffed by Red Cross or Ellis-certified lifeguards, who are available for both adult and junior, private and semi-private swim lessons. Get fit, keep cool and have fun with H2O Aerobics; all you need is your bathing suit and sunglasses!
The Children's Opening Pool Party is held during the beginning of June so the kids can meet the staff while enjoying games and refreshments. On the 4th of July, Birchwood's pool is the site of swim races, relays and contests for all ages; children, parents and grandparents all participate and win great prizes!
